The 25th Board Game Studies Colloquium, 2023
The 25th BGS colloquium will be held on 11.-14. April 2023 in Ephesus/Selçuk, Turkey, themed “Myths and Legends in Board Games”. A call for papers is already available at the conference’s website (click on image).
The theme Myths and Legends is open to a wide range of interpretations, ranging from presentations about gaming in mythology (like Shiva and Parvati playing dice), the origin stories told about games, legends from board game history, myths as inspiration for games, urban legends abouts gaming, etc.
